RefugePoint’s mission is to find lasting solutions for the world’s most vulnerable refugees. The organization wanted to create an annual report that would use a storytelling approach to draw people in – make them curious about young refugee Joseph on the most important journey of his life – the one to safety. Joseph’s story would provide a visceral connection point to complement the organization’s broader impact.
Strategy and Design Process
The goal with this report was to not only highlight the compelling people and projects that define Refuge Point but to dig deeper to find the untold stories worth telling and the lesser-known victories worth highlighting. The Joseph storyline was woven throughout the report creating the connective tissue between program impact, financial information, and objectives and goals for future years.
The report uses Joseph’s compelling resettlement story and powerful images to illustrate multiple facets of RefugePoint’s tactics and approach to achieving impact while advancing lasting solutions for at-risk refugees and supporting the humanitarian community to do the same.
